* I use this program for my recipes on my pi3 and Programming reference notes beside BBC Basic for windows. So it has become a useful tool.
On raspberry pi3 it runs cool 28% (you can modify WAIT times to reduce it. (but 28% is good)
NOTE: The first time you use, be sure to create a NEW FILE

Hi Michael,
Is it more like a card file, rather than a note book? It looks like it has 4 fixed entries per "page", plus a title.
Would a table into which you could write make it clearer how it worked?
What are the limits on the length of each item?
Could you make the "card" pattern configurable by the user when they open a file? Perhaps a dialogue asking how many items, and how big they should be? Perhaps options to have numeric as well as text fields?

Yes. I designed it for small notes. (Because I actually wanted a small one for a tiny slide show reminder for recipes and other things.)
Its spread out to make it easier to read and I am thinking of improving it with a better layout and make it BBCSDL compatible because I have devices that need it.
My mac nor raspberry pi 3 have anything attractive for simple note management. So that's part of why I made it.
I may add more border decorations to make it aesthetically pleasing to view. And I may also have a fixed amount of cards so that it stays compact, because too much info can be an issue.
So I could have a list of files that you could name, each with 10 cards. So maybe 10 files and 10 cards per file?
I think that might be best. Then a person only needs to relocate the app in a folder and make a link to each one with different subjects.
Ideas anyone? (mind that it must remain very simple and small)
