xx Anyone got a copy of the game 'Joop'?
« Thread started on: Dec 10th, 2016, 9:18pm »

Jeroen Groenendaal wrote and released this game several years ago, and I included it on my 'BB4W Games' website -- except I didn't host the program itself, but rather provided a link to his 'Joop' web page from where the game was downloadable. I think the reason was I presumed he would have preferred to keep track of the number of downloads it was getting. Anyway, I no longer have this game in my possession and would like to make it available on my website. So if anyone here has a copy of it then please let me know! Failing that, I'll attempt to contact Jeroen himself.

David,

Beter late than never.
You can download it right here :
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bz0tOD7urZecRHMySGZIcWtvbG8

Original source code is available too :
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bz0tOD7urZecNVdJUE5zMGNwb28

It needs some older version of GFXLib ( 2.01 or something ) to get it working.

Good luck!

Hi Jeroen! Very pleased to hear from you again after 3 or 4 years! I tried to send you an e-mail last night to your GMail address (jeroengroenendaal@gmail.com), but it bounced. Another BB4W user kindly sent me a link to Joop hosted at
http://publisher.games.brothersoft.com/jeroen-groenendaal/

however, several anti-malware programs reported problems with the download (a 981 Kb file named 'Installer_For_Joop.exe'), and so I didn't trust it, and I don't advise anyone to download it.

Anyway, thanks for the links and the source code - I hope to update the 'BB4W Games' web page tonight.
