im a newbie.
is there a way to work out the screen memory map in any mode,say mode 14.
i would like to be able to write assembly directly to the screen as i did on my old einstien (bbc basic)....thx shocked

There's plenty of information around on this topic.

You could also look at some of Tony Tooth's programs, in which he does exactly what you describe: http://www.tonytooth.co.uk/
