My date format is already displayed correctly. (IE 8.) Is there not a setting that would change it?

You're right there are some settings to change that on a per user basis, of course there are several ways of achieving anything the script was just one.

Possibly Jon deleted his original message, leaving yours as the first message in the thread rather than the second. There doesn't seem to be any time limit on when somebody can delete a message they posted.
