This is a message intended to share my latest BB4W project. After teaching an introductory course on programming to 10-11 year-olds using MSW-LOGO, I decided to implement a simple graphics program that was quicker and easier to learn than LOGO, and also produced prettier images.

The result is SHAPES version 0.8, available by following this link:

SHAPES is a simple programming language for generating colourful shapes on your computer. It is intended to be an introduction to computer programming for young people.
