A BB4W Compendium
Post by David Williams on Sep 4th, 2016, 3:07pm
I would like to make fellow BB4W users aware of Rob Freeman's excellent BB4W resource, 'Programming by Example: A BB4W Compendium'. There are some seriously good programs on this website, many showing quite a flair for mathematics, including some excellent games (I had a quick go at 'Citaquexyle 2: Atlantis', but predictably didn't get very far!). I thought the first iteration of this game ('Citaquexyle', published many moons ago) was superb, and I had it on my website (BB4W Games) - when my website actually existed. I thought it was one of the best games ever made with BB4W, but I didn't complete it (even though Rob subsequently released a solution at my request!).
Lots to explore, and much opportunity to learn...

I have just had a quick peek at the site, it is full of useful examples that can be downloaded and studied at leisure. Should be useful to anyone who needs a little help on almost any subject.
