Version 1.40 of the BBC BASIC for Windows plug in for APIViewer is now available from JonRipley.com.
Major changes since version 1.30:
Works out of the box on Vista and Windows 7 Uses the new BB4W naming convention: only prefix to avoid a keyword clash Choice of GetProcAddress, FN_LoadDLL or nothing in declarations An updated APIViewer database is optionally available
APIViewer makes programming with the Windows API much easier by providing a searchable database of all constants, functions, enumerations and data types. The BBC BASIC for Windows plug in (synBB4W) enables APIViewer to generate BBC BASIC code ready to copy, paste and use in your own programs. This tool is an essential addition to your programming arsenal.
The APIViewer database was created from the Windows XP header files and contains information for more than 6100 functions, 500 types and 52000 constants. The code for each of these API elements is converted into BBC BASIC code by the synBB4W plug in ready to be used in your programs.
The alternate APIViewer has been updated to be concurrent with this new version and is available from the synBB4W page.
