PE Hangs with Module Viewer
Post by Matt on Jun 7th, 2013, 07:12am

Hi Richard,

I've been working on this program discussed in another thread, and all had seemed fine - with the editing, that is. However, it has just started hanging when I try to use the module view. The modules I am installing number 15, with some of them from different locations from the standard BB4W LIB. I included a STOP just after the libraries, which are at the beginning, to ensure that it wasn't my program that was causing the problem. Everything works fine and continues to work fine until I use the Module Viewer. The PE seems to freeze, including the Close button, with the exception of being able to scroll the listing with the mouse's scroll button. The Task Manager suggests that it's still running, but the only way to close it down is by End Tasking. I have rebooted, and it's no better. Is ther an issue with this, or am I doing something that's causing it?

Matt

Edit: With a test prog that simply installs modules, I figured out when it's happening. When there are too many module tabs to fit across the top, or more precisely more than one too many.

Can anyone help me with this problem. I don't know who wrote it, but I need to find out what the problem is, as I can't use the Module Viewer until it's fixed.
